Friends of MVRUG,
It is my pleasure to announce new and some not so new officers of MVRUG. First allow me to share my sincere gratitude to those who inquired about the positions and offered to help keep MVRUG moving forward. The following positions are effective August 1, 2011.
Fulton Rosswell, IT Analyst with John Deere has accepted the position of President. Ross has relocated here from Grand Rapids, Michigan and brings 9+ years of Pro/E experience along with 4+ years of Windchill experience. Ross also presented at planetPTC conference in Las Vegas this year.
Michael Reece, Senior CAD Systems Engineer for HNI has accepted the position of Vice President. Michael needs no introduction to MVRUG members. Current Secretary for MVRUG and been involved with MVRUG since the conception. Michael also continues to be very active with PTC/User.
Keith Kohlmeyer, Designer with Cobham Mission Systems has accepted the position of Secretary. Keith has 20+ years of experience in Design Drafting and brings Board experience from other groups Keith has been associated with.
Brent Meeker currently Treasure will be stepping down and assuming the role of Director of Communications. Brent created and maintains MVRUG’s new web site and enjoys programming. Brent a Designer with Cobham Mission Systems will continue to serve as Treasure until someone fills the position.
Paul Crane, IT Team Leader for John Deere and past Treasurer of MVRUG has offered to serve in an advisory position. Paul was very active in the creation of MVRUG and remains active with PTC/User.
This leaves the positions of Treasure, Vendor Liaison and Program Director open. The Board of Directors is seeking candidates interested in filling these positions. Please forward your desire to any Board member.
Please join me in congratulating the above members and continue to give them your support for a strong user group in the future. It has been an honor serving the user community and look forward to seeing you at upcoming events.
